This growing distribution business is looking for an energetic and dependable individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist reporting directly to the Director of Finance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring accounts for overdue payments, contacting customers to resolve outstanding balances, and initiating collection procedures when necessary
- Meet essential KPI’s associated with DSO and past due balances
- Addressing customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account status
- Recording and reconciling incoming payments, ensuring they are properly applied to customer accounts
- Process customer refunds and issue credits as needed
- Maintaining customer records to ensure all contact and billing information is current
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing the highest level of assistance
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE
PROFICIENCIES REQUIRED:
- Degreed individual (preferred) with 2+ years of experience
- Energetic, detail-oriented, meticulous, and very well-organized
- Have excellent computer skills (MS Excel) and a solid understanding of ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred)
- Have a professional and pleasant demeanor
- Flexible and willing to jump from one task to another when necessary
- Work well under pressure
- Show initiative to take on additional responsibilities and also to improve processes
- Have a great sense of humor and work well with people at every level of the organization
- Have excellent communication skills
