An Important COVID-19 Update
March 31, 2020
As we continue to monitor the rapidly evolving situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19), our first priority remains the safety and well-being of our employees, customers and suppliers and all of our collective families; and of our communities, our healthcare workers and all of those working tirelessly to manage and care for the sick.
Through this all, We Remain Open to Serve You!
Our warehousing and logistics operations are continuing without interruption. Here are some of the many steps we have taken to help ensure the highest level of safety and reliability:
First, we are closely monitoring the guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Based on their collective input, along with considerations for our customers and employees, we have implemented preventive measures to help keep our employees and others as safe as possible from the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
We have implemented travel restrictions and wherever possible are requiring employees to work in alternative ways to minimize close interaction. We have significantly limited in-person interaction between our employees and customers, suppliers and delivery personnel. Our field sales organization is working from home, with a focus on communicating via telephone and video-conference, as are our call-center Customer Service Representatives. Please bear with us as I’m sure you’ll at times hear our children, dogs, spouses in the background! Our retail operations have converted to “curbside” operation to maximize social distancing and ensure everyone’s safety and health. And we have instructed our employees to follow all guidance as it relates to hand washing
Especially in a time of reduced face-to-face interaction, the best and safest way to contact the Northeast Battery team is by emailing to customerservice@northeastbattery.com, or by calling our Customer Service team at 800-441-8824. For our Tri-State team, email us at Sales@TriStateBattery.com or call us at 800-852-9700.
Please let us know what we can do to help you as we all join together to navigate through these unprecedented times..
